Jean-Marie Sorgue, born in France in 1925. Sorgue grew up near the city of Aix-en-Provence, an area well known for its art and academic background, and a perfect place for Sorgue to begin his artist journey. His early works were focused on figures painted with a somber palette, and later his style has become more abstract impressionist.
